SME has announced their list of '25 Leaders Transforming Manufacturing', and Xemelgo CTO Akhila Tadinada is among them.
Akhila was recognized for her work developing software solutions that help manufacturers gain real-time visibility and improve their operations using IoT devices deployed on the factory floor.
In recent years, there has been a growing trend of companies embracing technology on the shop floor to increase their efficiency and productivity. Akhila was inspired by Amazon's transformation of the retail industry with technology, and sees the manufacturing industry undergoing a similar change.
"We believe manufacturing is getting started on a similar journey", says Akhila.
New technologies like Xemelgo allow manufacturers to track every aspect of the production process, from raw materials to finished products. By using sensors and data analytics, manufacturers are able to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize their operations.
